Soar Extension Conservatory Replacement

A private extension project completed over three months.
The project replaced an old conservatory with a modern extension, creating a more usable space with the finishes the client requested.
Working from architectural and structural drawings, the build included demolition, full structural works, foundations, a steel frame, bespoke stonework, and a zinc roof. Internally, natural stone features, underfloor heating, and bespoke windows and doors completed the high-spec finish.
Access and groundworks posed additional challenges, which were managed through careful scheduling of trades, material deliveries, and waste removal without disrupting neighbouring properties.
Our client works away frequently, so progress updates and key decisions were shared with photos and clear communication throughout the build.
Although smaller in scale, the combination of materials and finishes required careful coordination to ensure they worked together properly. The extension improved the property by opening up the layout, increasing natural light, and creating a contemporary addition that remains in keeping with the original home.
